The 78th session of American Legion Auxiliary Volunteer Girls State will be held at Lipscomb University from Sunday, May 26 through Saturday, June 1, 2024! This is a program of the American Legion Auxiliary for rising senior girls from across the state of Tennessee.
Registration Information:
Registration for the 2024 session of ALA VGS will begin in early 2024. The primary contact for schools and ALA Units will receive personalized communication with your school or unit’s citizen allotment, registration instructions, and more in the coming months. To ensure that your contact information is up to date for the coming year, please fill out this form.

Arriving at Lipscomb University:
When you arrive at Lipscomb University on May 28 between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. CST, please make your way to Bennett Campus Center (entrance on Granny White Pike). It is important that you do not unload your belongings upon arrival. Dorm assignments will be made once you check in, and you will be directed to move your car to the closest dorm location to unload.
Health and Safety Protocols:
We continue to monitor medical and legal advisories in order to develop a safety plan and COVID-19 protocols that will protect the health and well-being of our 2024 delegates, staff, and counselors. It is our current policy that COVID-19 vaccinations are highly encouraged but not required for participation in ALA VGS.
