On Saturday morning, all of VGS loaded onto buses for a trip to the Capital in Nashville. The luncheon was at the Renaissance Hotel. Best citizens were chosen by each city.

Everyone joins in singing. Overton celebrates when it and Davis were awared first in the Best City competition. The winning cities display their ribbons.

Rock 'n' Reminisce was the final event of VGS. Davis City joins in the festivities. The chorus performs for one final time.

Everyone stands up and claps. Jaclyn Holland was awarded the Samsung scholarship for Tennessee. The 2004 Girls Nation Senators are introduced to all.

Mary Lindley Carswell and Amanda Thompson will represent Tennessee at Girls Nation. The junior counselors perform "After the Fire." VGS chairwoman Julia Wells sends the delegates out to change the world.
