Volunteer Girls State (VGS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization funded through the American Legion Auxiliary (ALA) and through the support of generous donors like you. The program is facilitated during the week -- and planned throughout the year -- by a staff that is 100 percent volunteer.

Financial contributions to ALA VGS help ensure the quality and stability of the program by alleviating rising operating costs and providing the resources necessary to instill in the young women of Tennessee a love of God and country.
