Speakers for 2012

Many highlights of Girls State come from the exciting speakers who share their experiences and thoughts with the delegates. Several of the speakers are gifted members of the ALA VGS staff and counselor team.

The speakers for 2012 ALA VGS included Tennessee Governor Bill Haslam, U.S. Army Second Lieutenant Andrea Walsh, former Major Kathy Isaacson, Tennessee Speaker of the House Beth Harwell, Amy Piper, and Kelsey Keny.
